Max's First Birthday Party
Max LOOOOVES fish so what better theme then a "Fish Pool Party" for his first birthday! We had a whole lot of Max's friends and family come out for the occasion. Mommy did a great job planning everything from the decorations to Max's Fishy Cake! It was great party and he had a blast! Max loved all his presents and can't get enough of his Baby Tickle-Me Elmo.
Max is a walker!
One minute he was crawling, then using the walker and now he's running around like Carl Lewis. Look at my little Tan-Tan go!

Max's First Easter
Max had a great time for his first Easter! He got his Easter basket bright and early and rather than eat the candy (which was really for Mommy), or play with the toys, he went straight for the socks and Easter grass. Luckily we got the grass out of his hands before it went into his mouth. Then we all got dressed and went to church and brunch with Grandma Billstrand at Bistro VG. The waitstaff LOVED Max and everyone came to see him in his Sunday best. Afterwards we headed to Grandma and Pop-pop's for dinner and some time in the hot tub. Max had a blast!!!

Max tries "big boy food"
Max has now gotten to the point where he is being spoon fed in addition to the numerous bottles he eats per day. Right now his dinner choices consist of rice cereal, baby oatmeal and various pureed fruits and vegetables. Max has become quite fond of his new dining options, not that you can tell from this video :(
Max wakes up from a nap
Max is pretty good about taking naps these days. Limited fuss is always the goal. Although he isn't always stoked about going down he's always happy about getting back up.

Max's First Halloween
Man, Kendra and I are really making up for lost time here. One of our New Year's Resolutions was to finally get Max's blog set up so the family can see how we're doing and how he's growing. We have thousands of pictures to share and a few videos but we'll be picky and post only the best :)
Here's Max in his Monkey Costume for his first Halloween.
Max prepares for his first trip to the mountains
Here's Max in "Baby Command Center." He is diligently watching TV until Dad approaches and asks if he's ready to go out of town. Yes, that is my voice talking to Max. No, I am not embarrassed about it. You see that smile? Yeah, it's worth the silly voice.
